The letter sent to NCC on July 28, 2005, from the tax accountant who represented the Corporation to the IRS, confirms that NCC has been granted continued tax-exempt status as a 501(c)3.
One reason that "weighed heavily" in the IRS decision was the diligent and full accountability for funds received by Restorers of Zion, noted as NCC's "new Israeli representative", which began from our earliest activity with NCC. We received a copy of the letter, along with a word of thanks from NCC's treasurer for our part in their success.
We congratulate NCC President Tom Mercer on the favorable outcome of their long-awaited audit.
We are glad to have our confidence in NCC's worthiness for partnership confirmed by a U.S. government authority, and we are grateful to have received favorable comment on our own conduct as well.
"For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same...." (Rom. 13:3)
Restorers of Zion continues to operate with the same transparency, in our financial dealings and in our relationships with others in the Body of Messiah.
We
encourage our supporters to continue donating to our efforts through NCC,
with confidence in the integrity of both organizations.
